Successful Seasons for MVHC March 2012
As the Intercollegiate and Interscholastic competition year comes to a close, MVHC would like to congratulate our Connecticut College IHSA Team, US Coast Guard Academy Team, and Southeastern Connecticut IEA Team on successful regional performances. CCET is currently ranked third in IHSA Zone 2 Region 5, with over ten riders anticipating great results at the IHSA Z2R5 Regionals to be hosted at MVHC at the end of the month, March 31. SECT, with over forty dedicated members, will host Z1R4 IEA Regionals at MVHC on March 18. SECT also hosted the second annual IEA Banquet and awards night at the Ledyard Fire House, what fun!
Fair Winds, Compass Rose, and Sally Russell recently returned from Ocala with tons of ribbons (mostly blue!) to top off their success. Fair Winds (photo below) took to the grand prix like the seasoned horse he is, while his younger "sister" showed she was to be taken seriously too, winning several 6-y.o. classes, earning division champion. Congratulations to all three, and welcome home!
